No matter how much we may crave for solitude, for being alone with ourselves only, without human companionship, we all creep out of our lonely cave at some point and reach for another human being.
We simply are not made for continual loneliness and that poetically-dreamt desert of solitude. We long for companionship and we strive to get it in order to feel complete. No one feels complete solely on his own. The others round you off in many ways and there is joy in this that is very hard to obtain in loneliness.
Surely we all have our moments of solitude when we need to get in touch with our thoughts and ponder on our inner questions but in the end, we go out in the open looking for the comfort of the social.
